Worship Services

Sundays 9:00 & 11:00 a.m.; 6:00 p.m.

Wednesdays 7:00 p.m.

Worship is a vital part of the body of Christ and at First Baptist Church we offer several worship opportunities each week.  Both of our Sunday morning worship services offer a blend of great hymns of the faith along with newer songs and hymns by contemporary authors/composers.  The 11:00 a.m. service is led by a choir with organ and piano accompaniment while the earlier 9:00 a.m. service is led by a small ensemble with piano accompaniment. Our pastor shares the same message in each of these services. 

Our regular Sunday evening service is structured more like a “small group” Bible study, with adults only in the service. Preschoolers, children and youth are involved in other activities during this time. We also enjoy periodic “special” worship events: musicals, Youth-Led Worship, Kidz Praise and more.

Wednesday evenings are devoted to praying for others in our church, community and around the world. Generally, the prayer time is followed by a brief devotional thought from our pastor.

Children’s Worship is offered for Grades 1-4 during our 11:00 a.m. worship time while Preschoolers enjoy learning about the Bible and missions in their Mission Friends class.
